Wet Paint Design is a family owned and operated business. We opened our doors in February of 2010 to the public. Our small little business is designed to help those in need of just abnout anything screened.
Meet the Family
Candace Abney - Owner/Graphic Designer. Has been a professional graphic designer for over 15 years and has extensive experience in customer service at which spans over 30yrs. As a free lance designer for years, working at WPD is just adding the icing on the cake. Being able to design and enable others to see their ideas come to life on a product that we can help provide for them is exciting to me. I love being a designer!
For the past 19 years of being married to my husband I have had 3 children at which has enabled me to be a team mom, support group for the athletic teams and departments as well as work in booster clubs and more. With that experience I bring to the table I believe we can help as many athletic teams and team moms and dads as we can.
For the past five years I have designed and helped developed signage for many large and small companies as well as personal signage, support signage and more. This experience I have with a sign company has helped enable me to understand the needs of the small signage as well as provide our products for other sign companies that could use the extra help with the small items we can provide.
I love what I do and I am excited to help you with what your needs are when it comes to designing and screen printing. I look forward to meeting you and helping you with your design needs.
Mark Abney Sr. - Production Manager. Formerly a computer network engineer Mark has decided to move away from fixing computers and join his wife in an adventure of his life. He has extensive experience in customer service and computers, he also has some designing in his background. Though Mark is the technical one together they work well and provide the best of service they can possibly provide.
For the past 19 years he has had the opportunity to work for many various companies as well developing the greatest qualities of customer service anyone can ask for. He has also been coach, supporter of his kids athletics, team dad and more.
With a passion in his heart and a dream he envisioned WPD became a reality. Our desire is to help grow the vision and build a company with you to help those in need of real quality work and sensitivity to your needs.
What we are about
Wet Paint Design is a small family owned business designed to help you develop your look and feel. Screen printing is our main focus here at WPD, whether its on apparel or small signs we are here for you.
T-shirts, hoodies, sweats, coats, tank tops, shorts, bags, yard signs, license plates and more. We can screen print on most any types of apparel and small signs including metal, plastic and magnetic.
We can screen print for businesses, parties, booster clubs, family reunions, fundraisers, team sports and more. If you are having difficulty coming up with a plan for your need see our in house art department for help. With our professional in house designer we can set you up with something you would love to wear.
Story behind the logo
The nautical star was designed originally by sailors, they used it as a symbol for the north star at which was used to help them find their way. At WPD the nautical star is also used as a symbol of the north star, however to us the north star was used to find baby Jesus when He was born by all those who were to search for Him.
As believers in Jesus, we also felt that even though the splotch behind it is paint, it is red to symbolize the blood that He shed to save us from our sins. Therefor the representation of the logo is that of Jesus who died for us so that we may be saved. All we have to do is ask and believe.
